These earrings remind me of three associations with this melodic word that I really like. The first refers to a style of Caribbean folk music that seems to have originated in Trinidad. The second refers to an oceanographic research ship operated by Jacques-Yves Cousteau. And the third reference is to a song written by the late John Denver in 1975 as a tribute to Jacques-Yves Cousteau and his research ship Calypso. It is all good, happy, and majestic.
